Fly-half George Ford has always punched above his weight and played above his age group from an early age. Ford became the youngest professional player in England at 16 years and 237 days when he played for Leicester Tigers in 2009, breaking the record set by his close friend Owen Farrell the previous year.

Ford played for England Under-18s as a 15-year-old and delivered a number of man of the match displays as a 17-year-old in England Under-20s 2011 Six Nations Grand Slam. Ford was the youngest star on show at the 2011 Junior World Cup, at No10 he guided England to the final where they lost to New Zealand. But Ford had done enough to be named IRB Junior Player of the Year ahead of current All Blacks skipper Sam Cane. Ford went on to captain the England Under-20s side before graduating to the senior side in 2014.

Ford has been regularly utilised at fly-half with Farrell at inside centre under Eddie Jones. Ford had a four-year stint at Bath from 2013 to 2017 before returning to the Tigers. Ford captained England for his 50th test against Japan in 2018 and started the 2019 World Cup final. He wears the Adidas Predator Mutators.
