Wales Rugby

Wales rugby experienced a renaissance period when Warren Gatland took control after the 2007 World Cup. With Gatland pulling the strings Wales won four Six Nations championships, including three Grand Slams, 2008, 2012 and his last in charge, 2019.  But despite their domestic success in their home tournament, World Cup success has continued to evade them . They suffered narrow losses in the 2015 and 2019 tournaments, both times to South Africa, finishing fourth place in the latter tournament, their best ever finish.

There are some popular boot choices among the Welsh squad. All-world winger George North laces up in adidas Malice Controls, as do Rhys Patchell and Liam Williams. Among the forwards, the formidable back row  Taulupe Faletau sports Nike Tiempo Legends and Ross Moriarty is the only man to wear Puma’s, playing his rugby in King Pros.
