Peter O’Mahony made his Munster debut in 2010 after starring for Ireland Under-20s in the previous year. The versatile backrower – comfortable across all three positions but predominantly a flanker – showed leadership potential from a very young age and has captained Ireland at Under-18 and Under-20 level as well as the full international side, province Munster and the British and Irish Lions. O’Mahony made his debut for Ireland in 2012 and won the Six Nations in 2014 and 2015 with a Grand Slam in 2018. Warren Gatland picked O’Mahony to tour New Zealand with the Lions in 2017 and he was picked to skipper the team in the first test of the drawn series. He has won 73 caps for his country and wears Adidas Predator Malice Control boots.
