Billy Vunipola

Number 8 Billy Vunipola was born in Australia to Tongan parents before growing up in the early part of his childhood in Wales. Eventually big Billy moved to England and studied at the prestigious Harrow school after being awarded a scholarship. Vunipola moved into the Wasps academy, making his senior bow in the 2011-12 season. An England age grade international, Vunipola made his full debut in Argentina in 2013. He was initially selected for the 2017 British and Irish Lions tour to New Zealand but a shoulder injury forced him out with friend James Haskell taking his spot.

Vunipola has had a glittering domestic career with Saracens since moving to Allianz Park ahead of the 2013-14 season. He has lifted four Premiership titles and three European cups. Vunipola played a major role in England’s World Cup run to the final in 2019 and helped his country to Six Nations and Autumn Nations Cup tournament wins. The ferocious ball carrier opts for the Nike Premier Black IIs.
