Tom Curry became the youngest flanker to start for England when he sutied up against Argentina in 2017. Curry and twin Ben grew up playing rugby at Crewe and Nantwich RFC and both progressed into the Sale Sharks academy set-up. Curry made his professional debut in 2016 as an 18-year-old just months after finishing at Oundle School. His debut game against the Scarlets in the Champions Cup saw him become the youngest Sale player to appear in the competition. He notched a try on his Premiership debut in October 2016, becoming the third-youngest scorer ever in the competition.
Curry primarily featured at No7 for England before taking on the No6 role with fellow Kamikaze kid Sam Underhill at No7 as England made it to the Rugby World Cup final in 2019. Curry was also shifted to No8 by boss Eddie Jones in the absence of Billy Vunipola. He was named player of the series in the Autumn Nations Cup as England lifted the trophy just weeks after beating Italy to seal the 2020 Six Nations. Curry’s furious work rate is supported by his choice of boot; the Adidas Predator Malice control.
