New Zealand-born Joey Carbery returned to Ireland aged 11 and less than a decade later had made his senior debut for Leinster. Capable of starring at fullback as well as fly-half, Carbery was the Pro12’s Young Player of the Year for 2012-13. Carbery made the move to rivals Munster ahead of the 2018-19 season. He made his Ireland debut as a replacement in the country’s first win ever over New Zealand in Chicago in 2016. He was part of the Six Nations side that won the Grand Slam in 2018. Carbery played for Ireland in the 2019 Rugby World Cup but he has not been seen on the field since January 2020 after a troublesome ankle and wrist injury. He prefers to wear the Adidas Malice Elite.
