Maverick fly-half Finn Russell forged a career as a professional rugby player after first training as an apprentice stoneman. He first played for Stirling County before moving to second tier Falkirk. Russell starred at centre for the Scotland Under-20 side at the 2012 Junior Rugby World Cup. On the back of his displays he progressed into the Ayr side before joining Glasgow Warriors. He played a central role in the 2014-15 Pro12 triumph, scoring in the final against Munster. Russell made his debut for Scotland in 2014 and became the first choice stand-off for the Six Nations the following year. He starred in both the 2015 and 2019 World Cups and received a late call-up to the 2017 British and Irish Lions tour. Russell joined Racing Metro in 2017 to replace Dan Carter and helped steer the side to the 2020 Champions Cup final. Russell graces the pitch in his Adidas Malice Soft Ground boots.
