Wales fly-half Rhys Patchell starred for Wales Under-20s in the 2013 junior SIx Nations. Patchell started out at the Cardiff Blues after finishing school at Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaf. He progressed into the senior set up in May 2013 when he got the call up for the summer trip to Japan. And he made his international debut against the Japanese in June. Patchell moved from the Blues to the Scarlets in 2016 and was a key cog in his new side’s Pro12 triumph that very same season. Capable of also playing at full back, Patchell impressed on Wales’ tour to the Americas in 2018 before landing a spot on the plane to Japan for the Rugby World Cup in 2019. He has scored 82 points in 21 tests for Wales and wears the Adidas Predator Malice Control boots.
