The most capped rugby international of all time Alun Wyn Jones is a Wales and British and Irish Lions legend. He graduated from Wales Under-21s into the senior side, making his debut aged 20 against Argentina in 2006. He won his first cap on the flank before establishing himself as one of the world’s pre-eminent second row forwards. Jones first captained his country in 2009. The same year he went on the British and Irish Lions tour to South Africa. Jones has been selected on the last three tours and has also won three Six Nations Grand Slams – one of only seven Welshman to have done so. He captained the side to the 2019 Grand Slam and was named player of the tournament. The Ospreys stalwart has won 143 caps for Wales and played 9 Tests for the Lions.
