Jake Ball

Lock Jake Ball was born in Ascot but moved to Australia aged 17 and caught the eye down under. He was scouted from Australia by the Scarlets who signed him up to a three-year deal in 2012 aged 21. The same year he made his professional debut for the side. Ball’s Welsh father ensures he qualifies for the nation and he was called up in 2014. He made his debut off the bench against Ireland. Ball became the sixth player to sign a dual contract with the WRU in 2015. He starred in the 2019 Grand Slam and Rugby World Cup in Japan. Ball prefers the Gilbert Kaizen Power for stints in the engine room.
